LOWER WORLD – Past
This month it is time for you to get face to face with the things from your past that are holding you back from your future.
Have you been thinking about taking on a new project, or opening up to a new way of living but something keeps holding you back?
Often when this happens it is because your old stories, fears and limiting beliefs are getting in the way of you allowing the Universal flow of life.
Fears and limiting beliefs are built on past experiences that you have had, or stories that you’ve been told, that have built themselves a home within you and are explaining to you how you should live.
The best way to deal with these uninvited house guests is to sit them down around the dining table and embark upon a good chat.
Ask them why they came to live with you?
What happened in your life that has lead you to believe that your current ideas for the future aren’t valid?
Who told you that it wasn’t safe to make this change?
When was there a time in your past where making a change like this didn’t work out the way you had hoped?
All these questions help you to unpack the real cause underneath this feeling of resistance or ‘being stuck’ that you might find yourself in at the moment.
Even if you’re not feeling stuck it is so healthy to do a little spring clean of your past from time to time to make sure there’s nothing in there that is going to cause you a speed bump in the future.
Our past is a wonderful thing that has shaped us into the beautiful humans we are today.
What makes it even more wonderful is that we are able to release any aspects of our past that don’t leave us feeling good about the now, or that hold us back from being all that we can be in the future.
Taking the time this month to really go within and honour all that your past holds will give you a renewed sense of freedom and possibility for all that the world has to offer you.

TALKING TO YOUR HOUSE GUESTS
Journalling is a great way to sort through your fears and blocks.
Start by simply writing the questions above on a piece of paper and really take the time to feel into them and listen for the answers.
Often when you get really clear on what it is that’s holding you back you find it much easier to move past it.
Writing it down also gives you a great reminder of the things you’ve uncovered if you come up against resistance at another time in the future.
