Rain: Cleansing, Refreshing, Rainbow, Freedom. 

Spirit is reminding you this month that it is time to create.

No matter the state of your current circumstances, when your thoughts and feelings are centred around particular things, that is what you are dreaming into your future. 

Don’t get me wrong, it’s really important to be present in the moment.

In fact for many, that is an entire way of life. (Hi Ram Dass)

But for those who are living a life in the world of modern things, there is a delicate balance between the past, the present and the future you are yet to create.

Take a minute to reflect on the thoughts that have been running in your head today.

Have they been ones of positivity and possibility?

Or were they more in the themes of worry and lack?

Reflecting gently, with compassion.

No judgment here.

I ask you this because your thoughts, combined with your emotions, are the seeds of your future.

And though we often forget it, seeds require a period of darkness and stillness in order for them to germinate and grow.

Similarly to the image in this month’s card – without the darkness there is no flowers, and without the rain there is no rainbow.

And how much sweeter does life look after the storm has passed and we get through to the other side? The light has a different tone, a glow, and the air feels refreshed and balanced, like old pain has been washed away.

Take a moment to read through the following visualisation and then allow yourself to walk through it in your mind:

Imagine yourself in a plant nursery.

In front of you is a wall of seed packets, each one with a beautiful image of the blossoms promised to grow within.

Notice which packets you are drawn to, which colours or shapes grab your attention the most?

Now, as you step closer to the packets you realise that the labels aren’t for flowers after all. The labels are for things like Prosperity, Friendship, Health, Positivity, Love…

Notice the packet you were originally drawn to – what does it contain within?

Imagine yourself now taking those seeds and sending your awareness within.

Taking your attention to your heart space and imagining that it is a bed of fertile earth.

Take the delicate seeds from their packet and gently and lovingly plant them into the soil.

As you plant each seed, send it a silent blessing of love and encouragement.

Promise the seed that you will continue to nurture it and do whatever you can to assist its growth.

After a deep breath, bring yourself back into the here and now.

For the rest of the month, whenever you think of it, send further blessings to this seed in your heart and allow a feeling of joy and happiness to grow within you.

Your future is being created at every moment.

Now is the time to ensure that what you are creating is a future you want to live.
