LAUGHTER
There are many resources you as a human being can draw upon when you need healing.
Sometimes it’s medicine, herbs, rest or introspection.
Other times it’s dancing, connection and joy.
The medicine being prescribed for you this month is laughter.
On a chemical level laughter does wonderful things for your brain and wellbeing, but on a more personal level when you laugh with someone else you connect.
Looking back over the last few months does it seem like a lot of your time was filled up with responsibility or hard work?
This is the perfect time to press pause on the machine and allow the natural essence within you to bubble up.
Give yourself permission to play.
It might be by becoming more present with your kids, or making time to do the things you know you love but that you’ve pushed to the side in the name of obligations or commitments.
Heck, you can even spend an hour YouTubing videos of funny cats if you want!
Because life is only sustainable when it is in balance.
Of course there are things that need to be done but if the “should dos” are taking up more time than the “want to dos” it’s time for a change up.
You are the only person who can give yourself permission to make space for this laughter and joy.
Nobody else is going to do it for you.
Don’t let one more day pass you by where you forget to find the fun and feel the appreciation for what it is to have a life in this human body.
This month it’s time to find the fun and really, truly bring laughter into your days.
