This month you are being encouraged to connect with all the past versions of you that have led you to become the person you are today. The toddler “you”, the young child “you, the teenager…the young adult.
All these different chapters of your life have created an emotional and energetic resonance within you that holds the key to different experiences, memories and ways of being.
Some of those versions of you contain a positive outlook on life, with a freedom and playfulness that you long to indulge. Others will hold emotions of sadness, anger and potentially even trauma, and can be layered with memories that are painful to recollect.
None are better or worse, or more important – they just – are.
You may have heard of the term “the inner child”, and this refers to the younger “you” as a collective.
Your inner child is very much still alive in you.
While it might be easy to reflect on a younger version of you as naive, inexperienced or irrelevant to your life now, this is not the case.
Your inner child often holds the key to important unconscious belief systems, limiting thoughts and unsatiated desires that drive you to make decisions in your life.
Creating the space to reconnect with your inner child is a rewarding and deeply healing experience.
You’ll likely be surprised at the wisdom they offer, and the joy you experience at spending time with them.
The Heart Codes Guidance ~
If you’ve been seeking advice and no one seems to have it for you, there might be someone you have forgotten to ask.
Inner child has arrived today, reminding you to connect with your own inner child for guidance. She knows you better than anyone and can simplify situations with her uncomplicated and honest view.
Take some time to write a letter to your younger self. Connect intuitively with the age she needs to be and address this on your page.
Ask her what she wants and needs, and how the current situation can be best handled.
Your inner child always speaks the truth and her childlike view of the world may be exactly what you need right now.
Listen to what your inner child has to offer and reflect upon how this could assist you in your life.
Affirmation ~
I listen to my inner child. I take steps to integrate my inner child’s wisdom into my life.
xx
